Val-Cenis is a mountain resort located in Haute Maurienne (Savoy).
It encompasses the two villages of Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard.
It is a family resort especially popular during the summer and winter
periods, which has been kept natural and free from unsightly modern
developments.
During the summer season, the resort offers many facilities for those
who enjoy trekking. Numerous treks are possible throughout the Vanoise
national park and across the Mont-Cenis pass. Italy is only 15 km away.
During the winter season, Val-Cenis becomes a ski resort. It offers
more than 80 km of piste for downhill and cross-country skiing. Snowshoe
trekking through the forest is also possible.
